Roadies Taste of the Track Session
Saturday, October 5, 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Description: The purpose of the Roadies Taste of the Track session is for road bike riders, who are not familiar with track riding, to experience riding the Hellyer Velodrome on the COMFORT OF THEIR ROAD BIKES. The session is run by a supervisor. The session is instructional, not a training session or a racing session. A minimal amount of fitness is necessary to complete some of the drills. After riding the track on a road bike we encourage you to try a Saturday AM Beginner Session where fixed gear bicycles are used.

Who: Road bike riders who are not familiar with track riding (all riders must follow structured session – no individual workouts)
What: Instruction on safety, track riding etiquette, velodrome drills and training, and lots of practice.
