2019 Madison and Keirin Series & State Championships
(Hellyer Park Velodrome, August 2nd – September 6th )

Keirin and Madison Racing for Six weeks this summer. So, you’ve
never done a Keirin or Madison? That’s OK! The first two weeks will be
coached training nights, with mock Keirin races and e-Bike paced
Madison practice. The final night of the series will host the NCVA State
Championships.

Who: All riders who meet the requirements to race at Hellyer can attend the
training races on August 2nd & 9th. To be eligible to race August 16-
September 6th, attendance at one of these sessions is required. *Experience
Cat 1-2 riders can race without attending the training nights.

When: Fridays August 2nd – September 6th. Gates open at 5:00PM, racing/
instruction starts at 7:00PM
August 2nd & 9th: Coached sessions with mock racing. All riders who meet
the requirements to race at Hellyer are invited to join these training nights.
August 16th, 23rd & 30th: Keirin and Madison Racing

Sept 6th: State Championships, Keirin & Madison

Details: $20 per session. Open track warm up 5:30PM-6:35PM;
Elite Madison warm up 6:40PM – 6:55 PM. Racing available for all
categories with separate heats, and/or grouped by ability. Finals will be
per Championship Rules.
