Alternate Entrance to the Velodrome

At times Coyote Creek floods the main entrance to the Velodrome. When that is the case the County Parks Department will block off the main entrance and we need to enter the park using the alternate entrance via Sylvandale Avenue. There is a locked gate at the end of Sylvandale Avenue. Here are some instructions and directions to get to the Velodrome through the alternate entrance.

There are a number of locks for the different Park users. Note how our lock is attached to allow other lock users to undo the chain.
The session Supervisor will unlock the gate prior to the session start and lock the gate after everyone has left.
There is a wire hook to hold the gate open while you drive through. You MUST CLOSE THE GATE BEHIND YOU and WRAP THE CHAIN AROUND THE GATE AND POST when entering/exiting.
